How's Mcgill's security?

I was shocked after I read this article, <a href="http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/20060913/montreal_shooting_060913/20060913?hub=TopStories%5B/url%5D">http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/ArticleNews/story/CTVNews/20060913/montreal_shooting_060913/20060913?hub=TopStories</a></p>

So, I'm just curious about Mcgill's security..

Yeah I got scared too after seeing the news. It's about the shooting in a school in Montreal, right? I actually thought this happened at McGill.

It's not any worse than security on any other campuses in town. And Montreal is a safe city compared to, say, most US cities.

The shooting was at Dawson College which translates actually to a high school in US terms. The students at Dawson range i nage from 16 to 19. It was reminiscent of Columbine. Horrible and tragic.
I agree with Blobof -Montreal for the most part is a very safe city. People are polite and respectful in Montreal.
This sad event could have happened anywhere.
