How's my kid looking for entry in 2018?

My son has decided that Annapolis is on his very short list. He’s a high school junior. Here are his stats:

Will take SAT and ACT in Winter and Spring

4 years varsity football (team captain this year; starting center - also plays linebacker)
He does not want to play sports in college

He will be applying to the Summer Seminar and hopefully will get accepted
State of residence: CA

He has many other schools on his radar of course, but the Naval Academy is his top pick as of today.

Very impressive stats, I might recommend looking at serviceacademyforums.com for more information/stat comparison. From what I know certain areas within the US are highly competitive for the Naval Academy, I would recommend to begin reaching out to your representatives to get on their radars. Good Luck!

I think his resume is very competitive. It will depend on the competition in your congressional district.

Your son seems to be in good place! I received my appointment earlier this week. Let me know if you have any questions.

Take Calculus !!!
