How's My List Going

Applied/applying to 10 schools. In order of preference, they are:

1)Notre Dame
2)Duke
3)Virginia
4)Georgtown
5)Boston College*
6)North Carolina
7)Wisconsin Madison*
8)Minnesota*
9)Villanova
10)Wake Forest

*Accepted

Anyways, how's my list look. Any schools you would recommend I add or remove? I'm wanting an academically inclined school with big-time sports and a good social scene. I'm also Catholic and from Wisconsin if you haven't guessed already. I'd also need some good financial aid. Planning on majoring in finance (or econ in the case of Duke).

My stats are:
33 ACT
3.95 GPA
Top 5%
Solid EC's, but nothing special

Anyways, if you have any comments or suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Thanks.

Your list looks good. Nothing else I can say except good luck.

(I would also switch #'s 2 and 6 on your list, though) :)

Well if you haven’t applied to North Carolina, Wake Forest and Villanova yet you can virtually remove them from your list since you imply that you have already been accepted into other schools you would prefer over those ones. Though since you need good financial aid you may benifit to have the schools on the list to compare which is more affordable but that also gets ruled out since you were accepted into your in-state school.

Might add Holy Cross-very good Catholic school near Boston. In general, HC offers better finacial aid than Boston College and Villanova. Also Holy Cross has very strong business alumn. HC offers econ and accounting majors.

I agree with coolbrezze…seems like the logical thing to do.

Unless you’re just dying to go to UNC, you probably ought to go ahead and take it off, as they won’t likely offer you great aid as an OOS student.
