How's my list?

Hi guys, first post here (been reading for a long time, though).

I'm trying to see if anyone has any feedback on whether my list of schools is good for my stats, and if people have any ideas for other schools in case I find that my list isn't right.

My list:
-UMD- College Park (safety both financially + academically, no one in my program hasn't gotten into UMD ever)
-UVA
-William & Mary
-Duke
-UNC- Chapel Hill
-Elon University
-Emory
-Tulane

I think it's a good list of safeties, matches and reaches but I'd like some feedback! I want a school south of MD and with a good history program.

I am a senior in Maryland (near DC). I'm in a very competitive and rigorous Communication Arts Program at my school, and am in the top 10% of my class of 670. My unweighted GPA is ~3.69 but my weighted is ~4.4, which makes me in the top 10%.
My SAT scores are:
Overall: 2020
W: 710
CR: 690
M: 620 (I suck at math and I'm sure that by looking at my transcript colleges will see that)
I'm going to re-take in October to get my math score up and probably going to take 2 subject tests (Lit and World History) in November.

School rigor:
-Many of my classes have been part of my program and aren't AP classes but since this program is nationally well-known a lot of schools know about it
-4 AP's taken, 2 more this year
-5's on Government, Psych and Lang, 4 on World
-Taking AP European History and AP Spanish this year (didn't want to overload myself this year, I am still taking honors classes and doing a lot of required classes I put off)

EC's:
-Girl Scouts since 4th grade, my Gold Award project is approved and I plan to complete it in December
-Entertainment editor (12th grade)/staff writer (11th grader) for my school's online newspaper which was a National Scholastic Press Association finalist for the year I was a staff writer
-National Honor Society (got accepted 11th but we basically do everything 12th grade)
-JV Softball 9th +10th
-Internship at Fonkoze USA summer 2010
-Fully ran and operated my pool's snack bar for 2 summers (includes buying stock and all labor)
-I am a frequent babysitter in a babysitting service that I was an interim CEO of for the summer of 2011
-Volunteer at SilverDocs, the AFI's international documentary film festival
-170+ Service hours

So yeah, let me know!

Also I’m considering switching either W&M or UNC ( I wasn’t extremely thrilled by either of them when I visted) for College of Charleston since I LOVE the city, it’s a pretty good match/safety and they have a unique Historic Preservation major that sounds awesome, plus I think I’d be a good fit for their Honors College. Thanks!

I’d recommend switching out UNC; it’d be very hard for you to get in anyway due to the extremely low number of OOS students accepted.

Excellent chances at Maryland, Elon and Charleston. Maybe for Tulane. UNC, UVA and W&M are very tough on OOS students. Emory and Duke are reaches also. Best of luck!
