Wow, you are ready to go in the fall!

i like lists and organization (i’m a little OCD) :)

Wow, that’s a long list there
I didn’t even start mine yet

: ) i havent started thinking that much about it, since i dont have like a recommended packing list

seems like you’ve got it all there…
ahaha I wouldn’t even think to take Wrapping Paper and Bows

Just a question: why would you need a heart rate moniter?

don’t forget the white-out!

You had the recharger for your computer, but you forgot the computer :). On the sheets ask if you need Long. and many school’s matresses are pretty thin, they make thin foam pads that fit (in addition to the regular pad). Also make sure what your school provides. At our school they provide the trash can and extenders for beds. So check their list before you buy everything.

A blow-up mattress is great for sleepovers. We have sleepovers in the dorms a lot with day students or with students from other dorms. They are only about $30 and very valuable!

Lockbox, for your most valuable stuff…look for the type that has combination lock not key lock.

:O Squishy pillow! I’m putting that on my packing list.
For food, I would also add jolly ranchers and nutella. I think your list is pretty thorough. It’s even in alphabetical order. You won’t need posterboards, though; they have them at the school store.

i have a medical condition that requires me to have some stuff like an AED and a monitor for sports. and lville has extra-long beds.i shouldn’t have forgotten my computer. haha of course i would miss my most valuable possession. you’re right about the white out too. a blowup matress is a good idea.

dapple- if you’re a girl, then we’ll be in the same house next yr maybe :)

Are most people going to buy their stuff near the school?

I was planning on shipping most of my necessities (clothes, etc.) and buying the rest (like furniture and some toiletries) when I get up there. Also, mini-fridges are allowed at my school, so I guess I’ll discuss that with my roommate and we’ll split the cost if we decide to get one.

does anyone know if deerfield allows mini-fridges?
I saw the coolest smeg mini-fridge the other day but I don’t have aprox. $1000 to spend on a mini-fridge unfortunately ahaha

@ilovethattree, Try looking at electric coolers; I am sure they work just as well as mini fridges.
Would it be a bad idea to just buy a whole new wardrobe for boarding school?

^nope my sister says i am DEFINATELY going to need to replace my wardrobe lol. I’m going to have a fun summer shopping!

Urbanflop: no NOT a bad idea lol If get accepted that is what I am going to do!
