How's my premed schedule?

Math 25L
Bio 103L
Writing 20 - Genetics and Society
BAA

I got a 5 on my AP Bio exam and I also emailed the professor asking if Bio 103L is suitable for me. He said it's kinda hard but I should be fine. Also, I heard the 4 hr labs in 25L are a killer. I didn't take any calc classes in high school so i'm starting with 25L. As for BAA, it's interesting and I didn't want to take another real course my first semester.

For next semester, I was thinking Chem 22L, Russian 1, Seminar and....(any ideas?)

Thanks for your time and opinions.

To be quite honest, as a Biology major, I will say it's probably not the best idea to take a 100-level bio class your first semester, especially a lab one. I got a 5 on AP Bio as well and I actually didn't take a biology class at all first semester. If you do take one, however, I'd suggest taking 26 instead, because you're going to end up having to take it.

Bio 26 isn't offered this semester. You should consider taking a chem course now, so you can look into taking Orgo I next semester. That's not really a problem since you'll have your 3 chem classes together right before the MCAT, which may help. Otherwise looks pretty good for a premed schedule, but then again its pretty hard to mess one up the first semester.

I hope you're taking BAA w/ the discussion section, as it's extremely helpful

Well, it's too late to change it now so I'd just like to know if I dug myself into a deep hole for my first semester.

Also, no it's not BAA with discussion.

There's another drop/add period the week before classes start. You can change classes when you meet with your adviser.
