CH 301 PRINCIPLES OF CHEMISTRY I
GEO 401 PHYSICAL GEOLOGY
M 408C Differen And Integral Calculus
UGS 302 BIODIVERSITY, DYNAMICS, CRISES

Are they hard classes and like i signed up for the ugs302 class without knowing too much about it but it seemed pretty interesting. can anyone tell me anything more about it? and about the geo class as well. thanks

i m a geoscience/petro eng major student next year

thanks :)

Poor Kevin, no one answered you!

Anyway, if you’re an engineering major (and you are good at maths/sciences) then there’s no problem. CH301 is a pretty standard chem classic. It’s lecture based with weekly homework and multiple-choice, open-answer exams.

M 408C wasn’t too hard, but I took AP Calc BC so we had covered some of the topics.

Chem 301 is a lot of work. Not necessarily very hard, but there is a consistent schedule of homework and online problems to be doing. The same is true of M 408C. So get ready for a lot of homework.

I don’t know about GEO or your specific UGS, but the GEO class will probably be more book studying than homework problems, and UGS classes tend to be easy anyway.

Your choice of taking 4 classes is a good one. I recommend it to everyone, and it’s what I do myself.
