How's the career perspective for a Uchi econ major undergraduate?

I’ve found that many (most!) students find the time to intern during the quarter. My roommate is an Econ major, and she works downtown in a consulting firm two days a week - takes classes at Booth, the business school, and is also in CCIB (Chicago Careers in Business - check it out: https://collegeadmissions.uchicago.edu/academics/future/careers/business.shtml</a>)

Internships are really important. I’d actually argue though, that alumni are key - and the University of Chicago has a large and supportive alumni network through which you can find everything from Mentors to Metcalf internships. <a href=“Home | CareerAdv”>Home | CareerAdv;
