I was looking at some schools to add to my list for colleges were I can double major in CS and Economics/Finance. So far heres what I got: Cornell, UMich, UIUC, Purdue, Indiana, and USC.

Compared to those programs, how is Georgetown's CS program? I know Georgetown has excellent Economics and Business programs, but was wondering about the respect it has amongst employers.

I might be mistaken, but I don't think you can do that type of double major. Econ/Finance would be in MSB (Business school), and CS would be in the College. I know for a fact that cross-school double majoring isn't allowed (or so I remember).

the comp sci program is pretty small and close-knit. i've taken 2 comp sci classes (and the basic intro one that a lot of people take) and they were pretty rigorous. the people i know in comp sci are also pre-law or pre-med. I also read on the College's science research site about one girl that lived on my freshman floor that will be working at Lockheed Martin in the fall in some special engineering scholars program. I'm sure Cornell's program is much better and bigger than Gtown's, but the Gtown program isn't anything to laugh at.
