How easy is it to get quality bud, shrooms, and acid? Can freshman have cars on campus? One more thing, if I were to bring my Ferrari on campus would it get keyed up, and is there any security/garages?

if you want it, you can find it, that's for sure. i don't know how the scene is cause i'm not into that, but i have friends who are and they definitely don't have trouble finding the stuff.

you can have a car on campus if your priority number is high enough (likely but not definite) but you probably won't get a great parking spot.

i'd say leave the nice car at home and bring something a little older to campus just to be safe. parking security is nonexistant (even in garages people can just walk in), plus students in a hurry throw open their car doors, park poorly, etc.

A ferrari would get scratched up in a parking lot regardless of where you are.

Thanks guys. Too bad on the Ferrari. I was going to pimp the ladies. Heh, anyway, I'm just happy I got it.

Yes, I know I sound like a douchebag about the whole Ferrari deal. :)

I was actually more concerned about the whole "acid' thing. I'd love to have a Ferrari. :-)

Steve Jobs has been quoted saying doing acid was one of the most important and best decisions he's ever made. I havent done it yet, as I dont consider myself mature enough, but soon enough. :) Shrooms + bud are good though.

Haha. I might see you around next year, I'm in scholars too if I decide to attend.

I got a parking tag - all freshmen are assigned to Lot 6- basically garage next to Comcast - I took my car home at Christmas and left it there (1) Comcast is all the way across campus from my dorm (2) I NEVER used the car - it literally sat there the whole time - too much of a hassle to go get it compared to hopping on public transport (3) there is no security (4) when bball games start - you have to move the car out of Comcast lot several hours before the game or they tow you! When I was lined up to get into the Duke game last week, I saw them towing the cars - they aren't joking (5) I have a great car and no one ever bothered it - no dings - no keys - no nothing - people just dont care - cars arent the status deal on campus - don't bother bringing it - it gets you nothing.

As for the drug scene - if you're on scholarship - they have a no fault policy - get caught you lose the $ and lose your dorm - no warnings. I saw them pack up a guy in my dorm a few months ago - its all yours to lose - if a lenient/look the other way policy is what you're looking for - go for Cali or the Ivies

GGT, wow that's new info (one strike policy for students on scholarship). I'm planning to bring a car to drive home on weekends and breaks (I live about 40 mins away). Other than that, I probably won't be driving around much.

this school's parking is crazy! let me warn u all not to park anywhere ur not supposed to within 1 hour. They have patrol every hour and get u if u don't have a permit.

For commuter, the more credits you have, the closer to campus u will get ur parking :D that's a motivation to work hard :D
