How's the financial aid for OOS?

I got waitlisted…
Does anyone know how’s the financial aid for OOS? (with a EFC 0)
I tried the net price calculator but I feel like it’s quite vague.

Any information would be appreciated!

I’m getting $8,000/semester my freshmen year from UConn. I’m not sure if it’s based on merit or finances (Probably finances since I file under my single mom, I’m third child in college, also my stats aren’t that impressive comparatively)

@tcangoz is that an efc of 10k? Is that 23k need based aid only?

If so that is hopeful. Two years ago we had an efc of about 23-24k and my S got about 8k of need grant money. Then last year efc of 24-25k and my son got nothing! (Felt a little like it was a bait and switch thing). Next year we will have 2 in school, efc about 13k. We are cautiously hopeful for some money.

@ConfusedMominMA‌ Its and EFC of $10.00, and yea its all need based

@tcangoz so with an efc of $10, you only got 23k?! That leaves a big gap of about 24-25k to pay!! Wow!
