I'm an out of state student so I am not really in the loop. UMass seems like a pretty good school but there are a couple of really outstanding school in the same state and I'm worried UMass students gets outshines by them and doesn't get great recruiting.

How do you guys feel the recruiting for internships and job opportunities after graduation for this school?

as far as internships and job opportunities i don’t really know because most of the friends i had that went there went to grad school after. my cousin got into NYU which is a very good school from Umass. Her boyfriend got his entire masters degree paid for after graduating from there. Another girl I know went there for nursing and got a job immediately afterwards in MA (it is rumored that MA is over-saturated with nurses) so for her to get a job right away, that says a lot about Umass’ reputation. Its the best public university in the state, but its NOT Harvard, MIT, or Boston College.
