<p>I'm in the middle of San Francisco and can never see the stars. Just wondering. Is it easy to get away and actually look at the beautiful stary sky at UCSC on clear nights? I'm sure it won't compare to being away from civilization without light pollution, but, perhaps it's relatively spectacular? haha...</p>

<p>You can see the stars absolutely clear. The best place on campus to see the stars is near the “Squiggle”, it’s the statue-like sculpture near Porter College, away from all the redwoods and foliage. It’s pretty gorgeous right there, it’s one of the clearest skies that I’ve seen.</p>
<p>WOW! I’ve always wanted to live in a place where you could see the stars so clearly. I didn’t realize it would be that way in SC. I’m glad to know I will be very soon. :)</p>
