<p>UIC Physics is an evil course. Average grades can easily be in the 50s. For Phys107, the average score on the first exam when I took it was a 32.
The Phys 105/06/07/08 is the algebra based physics course. The Phys 141/142/244 sequence is the calculus based course. Both course sequences are recognized as an acceptable intro course sequence. In the algebra sequence, you’ll find more pre-med/pre-pharm people, and in the calculus sequence, you’ll find more engineering students.
Summer school physics is a very intense course.</p>
