Such as Engineering 36, and Civil Engineering 70? I'm wondering whether I should squeeze one of them on top of my anticipated fall semester schedule: foreign language (5 units - P/NP), engineering 77 (4), math 53 (4) and physics 7a(4). I would have to take them sooner or later b/c they are required engineering breadth courses.

how hard are the 1 unit ones like Engin 92 and the attractor courses for Engineering-Undeclared?

Sorry I couldn't answer your question unlimitedx

haha i don't think you're going to need to worry about e92. it's a big joke. you sleep through another lecturer each week. that's the class. attractor courses (i'm assuming those are like something engineering 24 or 1) can vary. usually (as long as they're one unit) they're really not going to be a big deal at all.
unlimitedx, i am actually curious as well as i'm taking e36 next semester. although just looking at yours i would say you've got a full plate already. foreign language is supposed to a big time committment and of course the combination of e77/math53/phys7a is also going to be quite the amount. unless someone says the 2unit classes are really easy I would just stick to the 17 units you already have.

e36 is silly. the class material is very easy (F=ma, torque = F cross R are the only equations you really need to learn), but they give you the most annoying problems.

for example, they'll give you a truss with like 20 segments and an asymmetric load, and tell you to find the internal forces inside each individual segment. This leads to homework sets taking a long time. (they also grade on accuracy so you need to be careful).

if you go to lecture, work carefully, and do the homework before the night before it's due, the class is an easy A. if you don't, you can do very poorly.
