<p>I have the HP Envy 14 and didn’t realize that the texture made a swirly pattern until after I read this thread (although it was earlier in this thread). You can only see it if you are standing a few feet away.</p>

<p>I had my envy 14 since july 20 and I didnt like the etched pattern at first. I don’t really like it still but i grew accustomed to it since it’s very unnoticeable. It’s not deep so it feels very smooth when you run your fingers over.</p>

<p>Just to echo the last two comments…the pattern isnt discernible from 10 feet away. Its paisley anyway…which to me identify more with neck ties than flowers…</p>
