<p>yes, if you get rejected from HPME you can still attend northwestern. here's how it works: </p>
<ol>
<li><p>you send in your norhtwestern application FIRST (commonapp). university decides whether or not to accept you. if they accept you, they forward your app on to the med school. if northwestern rejects you, well...thats the end of that.</p></li>
<li><p>HPME requires that you mail in a postcard that has some basic info from which they decide whether or not to give you an application. do this ASAP. if they give you an application, fill it out, and good luck!</p></li>
