HPSMCC + Oxbridge.. Which one would i have greatest chance at?

Hi. I am attending U of Melbourne and I feel that the course is too easy here and I want to transfer out to the following:

Caltech
MIT
Stanford
Princeton
Harvard
Oxford
Cambridge
Berkeley

I understand that admission to these schools are very competitive, especially for an international applicant like myself. I am currently doing a double major EE/Physics, and my prospective major could be either of them. I was just wondering which one I would have a greatest chance at as an international transfer applicant, or possible as a graduate admission applicant.

Oxford or Cambridge dont accept transfer applicants. You need to apply first year. Not sure if does American schools will accept International Transfers. But you can check there websites and found out. But i know that Oxbridge you cant transfer into

Princeton doesnt accept transfers

How about just for graduate school admissions?

grad school admissions they would accept everyone and anybody from anywhere

OP, I hope you misspelled that sn on purpose. I'm serious.

it wasnt on purpose.. my CR score is 460 btw... dat prolly explains it :P

With that CR score you aren't going to any of the schools on this list.

thx for the encouragement... :(

p.s. my friend wit 420 CR is studying at MIT, on a full tuition scholarship

well i'm a international student myself..i don't think you wiil be able to transfer to the schools above . They are highly selective and most of them don't even take transfer students..
University of melbourne is very good i've heard many professors saying good things about it.When you say too easy that's very sunjective maybe you just a "easy" learner i have friend who says Stanford isn't hard that he doesn't study a lot but you probabily will find others that don't think the same...
Maybe you could finish you studies in U of malbourne and go for graduate in the US

hello again !!
"p.s. my friend wit 420 CR is studying at MIT, on a full tuition scholarship"
FULL TUITION are you sure?

yes! (he is dirt poor, he couldnt even afford plane ticket back to his home country for summer break)

he got 2 gold, and 1 silver medal for math and physics olympiads though (meaning hes the top 3 smartest mind in the world for his age)

pateta00 - U of Melbourne may be good, but for me it just seems so easy. Let me give you an example. Today, I had to go in front of class and write a proof, because my tutor and classmates dont know how to do it! I dont even have to study at all and get near full score here. They wouldnt let me skip the first year, because they said its some kind of policy....

Im sorry if i sound cocky, but I really want to get out of this place because it is a waste of time learning stuff that I already know.

Check out Gtech

I'd rather stay here than having to go to g tech.... = =

Sounds to me like you should take harder classes! That's what's subjective about it. There are easy classes no matter where you go, and considering what the others have said about your transfer chances, just advancing yourself where you are seems like a better bet. Ask if you can test into classes that are traditionally for a level or two above where you are - explaining that you don't feel challenged. They LOVE people who don't want it to be easy. You may even be able to finish your degree early.

Hello again my friend!!Well ...Do you do any kind of research at your university? Maybe you can find something challenging to do as far as a research , that would make you "life" less boring until the end of your program..Other than that i don't know what to say...Canada universities accept transfer students but i don't think it would be any more difficult then yours...

Maybe London imperial college....

Imperial is possible if you want to apply you have to apply through UCAS stating your point of entry to 2 instead of 1 1 meaning freshmen 2 meaing sophmore and etc. Just e-mail imperial. They are very good at science
