The worst part is having a completed essay then erasing several paragraphs because you don’t think it’s good enough.
I haven’t started yet. The first draft was going to be part of summer reading, but that was canceled. (I guess my school realized many students don’t take summer reading seriously…)
I’m nervous because none of my schools are on the common app, so I’ll be writing a bunch of essays! I’m not great at writing about myself, although I am a good writer.
I am excited. but then again I’ve always been an English nerd. I was the one who texted all my friends the day the Common App essay prompts came out. Haha
I am very excited about the essays. I have a lot of ideas, but my fear is that my life stories will not ‘stand out’ and will be mundane; I just live the life on an ordinary person.
