<p>I dont know whether to take IB American English/IB American Studies or Normal American English and Normal American English. These two my classes are my worst. What would colleges prefer? 2 IB's not that good grade or normal and good grades?</p>

<p>if <B then go for the normal and good grades.
if B-low A then go for the IBs. you gotta take ETS tests junior year too, so take that into consideration as well.</p>

<p>if you have taken REALLY difficult courses outside your college does it count ? Do they give you credit for that ?</p>
<p>take IB American english and a history course.</p>
