HS junior, college search process

Hey everyone,
I'm a junior in High School and I'm interested in studying journalism (specifically magazine journalism if possible). I'm looking for a school preferably near a city and on the East Coast. I'm also really interested in fashion, so a fashion merchandising program would be a plus. I don't want to go to a fashion school like F.I.T. or Parsons though. I also really want a school with a lot of school spirit and sports teams. I've visited BC recently and loved it except I know they don't have a journalism program. I've read threads on the best j-schools, so I generally know what they are (Northwestern, Mizzou, Syracuse, etc.) but I'm looking for more than just the journalism program/academics, the big picture so to speak. My grades are pretty good, I have a 3.63 cum with an upward trend and am taking a couple of AP's/honors this year. I'm in the top quarter at least in my high school (which is a very competitive school). I write for the school newspaper, have my own fashion blog, work as a ski instructor, and am in key club (to give you an idea of my EC's).

Any suggestions would be great!
Thanks so much!!
