I've already received a provisional admission e-mail from CSULA.</p>
<p>I've been checking my status via titanportal but my status is still at 'Application Received'. </p>
<p>what are my chances for CSUF?
Honestly, this is the only other school I think I have a shot at besides CSUN.
has anyone gotten in with similar stats?</p>

<p>UC GPA: 2.7
Major: Chemistry</p>
<p>SATs: (two sittings)</p>
<p>M:550, CR: 600, W: 560 --> 1150/1600 (1710/2400)
M:640, CR: 570, W: 570 --> 1210/1600 (1780/2400)</p>

<p>I am going to be honest because that is what i would want it i was in your shoes. I think you have a shot at being wait listed at cal poly and SDSU. I know for a fact that for bio majors at cal poly you wont get in unless you have a 3.0+ I do not know if this holds for chem majors. Most of the Cal state have a chart and i wish i could find it, where they take a combined score of your gpa and sat. If you have above or at that score you make it if your close wait list if not denied. I know this because when i was an applicant i called cal poly to ask them what was taking so long. I think you have a shot at both CSUF and CSUN. My friends go to cal state fullerton and the chem department is really hard you better be good at math too. Best of luck.</p>
