We all procrastinate at times and then cram at the last minute. However, it creates stress and delivers less than our best efforts.

Congratulations would be in order if you’d given up your favorite TV show or videogame and instead studied an extra hour a day, beginning with the day the assignment was given.

Learn from this and plan earlier next time, so you won’t have to sacrifice a good night’s sleep.

Writing a paper with plenty of time to spare is boring. When you’re doing it at the last hour (or minute) there is a bit more excitement.

You’re regretting that you didn’t start it sooner, promising yourself that next time it’ll be different, and you’ll complete it on schedule, but at the same time you know you’re just lying to yourself and that next time will be exactly the same. Combine this with the fear of not being able to hand it in the next day, and the adrenaline rush from all these emotions.

This must be what it’s like to play sports!

This reminds me of when I helped move my brother into his dorm at Stanford, and they had a big sign saying ‘CONGRADULATIONS’, spelled incorrectly in the same way as the OP.

English
History (Of the Americas, 20th century)
Physics
Biology
Computer Science - I take this on the side during study hall, lol
and Maths of course. Option being sets groups & relations

Testing HL in Eng Hist and Phys (Eng and Hist are required at my school, isn’t that something #%@!ing ridiculous… They’re my least favorite classes by far). I’m forced to take TOK this year as well, and take SL music to wrap the sched up.

IA month = have 6 IA’s due in the span of 2 days = I have murdered sleep

English(Pure *****dom, with bad teachers)
History(Americas, 20th Century)
Chemistry
Math
Computer Science(Our average scores for this are like 6s and 7s)(Have to do this on the side too)

I almost did Biology and Chemistry together… but my mom forced me to do diploma.

Mhm - I have to test in AP bio this year- lol. Our history teacher is a total hard***, and our school’s average scores on IB exams are middling to say the least… I wish we had chemistry HL! I took Chem SL as a soph and best class ever. ^^

The highest IB Maths score at my school isn’t above a 5. Ever! I and a few friends plan on changing that. :)

Same for our HL Math class. Highest is a 5.

I want to be the first 7. Even if our option is series and Diff Eqs. I’m going to take Further Mathematics SL. No IAs, just knowing the options?

You took the Chem SL exam as a sophomore? I thought it was for Juniors and Seniors?

Our average IB scores per test are like at 5s.

I wish we had Physics HL.

English HL and Chem HL are the most work.
Testing in AP Chemistry, and AP Computer Science A, which I could’ve done sophomore year.

Mhm. It’s depressing to see British schools with common 7s… Gotta be like em.

Further maths - we don’t even have that at our school because a whopping 5 people would be able to progress that high up in the math system anyways [e.g. compsci hl; 3 people], lol, but the options look more interesting than the subjects we’re covering right now. -_-

No, no IB exams as a soph, I just took the course and tested in AP Chemistry instead.

I took SL comp sci and AP comp sci too (big mistake going in without studying though, our comp sci class is extremely laidback. I haven’t started my dossier programming yet; haha… No worries though)

So many papers in IB examinations though, compared to AP tests. It’s sort of annoying.
