<p>Looking at previous years, many applicants to the engineering program received 'likely' emails from HSSEAS around and before this time in their years.</p>
<p>I looked through the threads here, but I couldn't find a mention of it.</p>
<p>i don’t recall getting email, it was a mail telling us they are going to “recommend” your application and invite us to go RSVP for open house :D</p>
<p>oh i see, yeah 2 years ago it was mail then… i remember i thought it was just some nice letter thats telling me they got my application since not many people applied to engineering at ucla and i didn’t think i had a shot at getting in anyway :D</p>
<p>Just got it. It ends with “Having reviewed your application, I want to congratulate you on your fine work in high school. I look forward to seeing you in person on April 4.” Is this a joke or does it really mean I have a higher chance of getting in?</p>
<p>congrats? really? i think its just an automated email that they did to everyone (if anyone <em>knows</em> otherwise, let me know). especially because i’m an international and they invite me for the open house in LA. so…?</p>
