Huffington Post Article: The Friendliest Colleges

Source: The FRIENDLIEST Colleges

Included colleges are (more descriptions in the article):

Carleton College
Washington University In St. Louis
Kenyon College
Clemson University
University Of Nebraska - Lincoln
University Of Scranton
Loyola Marymount University
Haverford College

Interesting – i’m glad WUSTL made the list :)

It seems they have no criteria for their selection except it seems right (how schools are mentioned online, etc).

If I was a prospie, I would be hesitant to apply to any college that is over 85% white (Clemson, Nebraska…) however “friendly” they may appear to be.

^ agreed.

How does HuffPost feel confident putting these nonsense lists online?

Well it’s just one publications opinion, everyone is entitled to theirs (and you can take these lists for whatever worth you feel it is)

I for one (as an asian at a school with 80%+ whites) can say that people at Clemson are very friendly :)

Students at Colleges in the Midwest are generally more friendly than those in the Northeast.
