I sent in my RD application for CMU in December and my school counselor told me that he sent my transcript, recommendations, etc. on the 21st. However, the application status page shows that they haven't received any transcripts or recommendations, and the worst part is that I have the "Folder pulled, committee read" message indicating that the admissions staff has already read my application (which is incomplete because they don't have my transcript or recommendations). Does this pose a huge problem for me? Won't I automatically get rejected if all they see are SAT scores and my essays?

call the office to confirm what documents they've received/whats missing. chill, hopefully it'll be alright. the online tracker thing is ridiculously messed up, i'm down for them having received like 4 commonapps from me. so calling the office is your best bet.

Well it is most likely that your transcript and etc. are still wandering somewhere in the admissions office. I do not think calling the office will be the best option right now--it is likely that they will just say that they do not know. It is not, and should not be, a problem, so worry not. If you are really nervous, give them a call.

Keep in mind that classes just started back up today so if they are relying on student help to open and sort stuff they might be a little bit behind.

As it says in the website, it takes time for Carnegie Mellon to update the status of your application. So be patient for a while and if you don't see any changes in two weeks, call the office to make sure your documents are in.

Definitely call, the site is not very reliable.

And by not very reliable, I mean...
