Huge Dance Problem: Don't Wanna go w/ someone

Okay,
So the Christmas Ball dance or whatever in midd december is a fun event for my school. People usually ask a week or two in advance, but this girl who I am not friends with is going to ask me like a month before. This is weird and I do not want to go with her (I know this sounds horrible, but it is supposed to be a fun event and I want to go with my friends). Seriously, what do I do? Suck it up or tell her no?

Suck it up. You might have fun, and at the very least, she’ll have fun. It takes courage to ask someone. Or, ask someone yourself first (even if it’s a friend)

All I can say is hurry up and ask someone!

If you don’t want a messy direct confrontation, you could just let it sift through the grapevine that you don’t want to go with her and hope she gets the message. That’s how you found out she was going to ask, right?

You’ve got to go with her and show her a good time. Make her feel special and be a gentleman about it. If you think she’s interested in more than just going to the dance together, you can give her hints at another time. But the night of your dance you want to be nowhere else but with her.

Oh Sorry, this is a girls ask dance. Prom is for guys to ask!

What happens if she wants more than just dancing, can’t decline that. ;)

Be nice and say yes? try to get and know her i guess. tough break dude.

^^Oh yes I can, and I would… Bad thoughts

^^^Lol.

^:(

lol, if you don’t like her, tell her no.

Guys get rejected by girls all the time. If she’s asking you, you have every right to do so.

@dapotatoman ouch, that’s harsh maybe you shouldn’t go w/ her lol.

Wait what is harsh, I said I would decline “more than dancing” advances. That is not harsh, its just true. I do have dignity (now that is a tad harsh).

^ that is reasonable. But in the moment, if it feels right go for it.

Just put it in her butt. The end.

If you truly had any dignity, then you wouldn’t have had to post a thread over teh interwebz asking how to say a simple “no” to a girl.

If you have any trouble pronouncing that word, then Merriam-Webster should be of use for you:

[Merriam-Webster Pronunciation](http://www.merriam-webster.com/audio.php?file=no1_0001&word=No&text=)

^ Well played… I shall toast you with my heartiest wine.

Haha two girls asked me to the last dance and I turned both of them down (and didn’t go). Good times.
