Huge dilemma PLEASE HELP

so i qualified for the usnco this year (chemistry olympiad) and it is this saturday from morning until afternoon

... but i have to go out of town on saturday as well

(im a junior btw) i know that i will not qualify for the next round or win any award or any other merit recognition other than that i qualified for the exam...

i could possibly take the exam and then leave for out of town, but my question is... is it worth it for me to even take the exam? i wont be able to put anything on my college app other than that i qualified, which i can put even if i dont take the exam

Please help!! it is this saturday...thank you!!

Well, saying you took the test would be better than just saying that you qualified.

but i would only win recognition for placing top 150, which i know is not going to happen…

^Who knows you might actually end up in the top 150! I’ll advice you not to skip this test.

This is a huge opportunity, and if you do end up in the top 150, then that looks even MORE impressive to colleges. This is your chance to make a bug impact on your college app.

I would go for it.

quit being a biscuit and take the test noob

There are plenty of things that can be classified as huge dilemmas. This is not one of them.

clearly no swagsack

hahahahahahahaha u got me brah hahahahahaha lololololol
