Okay, so my best score on the SAT is a 2000. My best score on the ACT is a 33, which equals to 2200 according to the concordance table between the SAT and the ACT on actstudent.org. However, I did not want to pay the priority shipping fee to send my SAT scores at the last minute so before I found out my ACT score of 33, I sent my SAT scores in along with my subject test scores (700 in Chem and 740 in U.S. History) a month before deadline on Dec. 1st. I sent my ACT scores in to all the colleges as soon as I received them but I'm still worried. Im applying to Cornell, Brown, Duke, and Wash U. Do you think seeing those lower SAT scores compared the high ACT will affect my chances of gettin in even though the colleges are supposed to consider the best test/subscores according to their policy?

In a word, no.

It could have a small effect, but it probably won’t matter.

no, your good

I sent both:
2010 SATs and 33 ACTs

Sincerely,
A Princeton Student
