Huge Dilemma!!!

ok so heres the story...i have to retake the sat1 and math 2c in the nov and dec test dates..
since i live in florida i couldnt prep bc of the hurracaine that we had, and my test center is still open for this next saturday test...
heres is my problem...i called in and the sat ppl told me that i can either take it this satuday or go to one of the rescheduled test centers on nov 19 (which is the rescheduled date for the closed ones) and take it then but they cannot change it in the computer...so basically i would be going as a standby except that i would have priority over them and i wouldnt pay the fees...
do you think taht i should prepare more and take the risk of waiting, or i just just take it this saturday???
thanksss

40 views and nothing?

dependson how prepared you feel - could you get a score you'd be pleased with on saturday? itmight be safer to do sat - I'd imagine that the rescheduled date woudl be pretty near if not already full (they haven't guaranteed you a place have they?) I\m geusing scores reachign in time for ed isn't a problem either?

no im not applying ed but thanks i think ill just take it sat...i dont wanna end up waking up early and not taking it in the make up date thanks for the reply

dont take the risk. If you dont feel you are ready for the SATs then dont take it. I took it feeling very badly about myself on Oct and totally bombed it (well my definition of bombed). So i had to cancel. Now im feeling pretty good. More a measure of your confidence but it is confidence is really important on a grueling 4 hour test.

The first 75% of standbye kids always get in, and usuall 100%, and since you are 'first priority'...I would take the risk, but that's just me.

Confidence plays a big factor! If you don't feel confident that you're going to score well taking it saturday, DON'T take it since you have the option to delay it. But make sure you prep yourself for the 19th so you go in confidently. GL

ill just see how i feel before the test since i dont have to report it to anyone ill just decide later thanks for the imput ppl
