Huge Problem (RD to EDII)

<p>I sent in my application in its entirety around early November, but recently have decided to that Tufts is my first choice. However, I checked RD on the original application, and now, when I attempt to switch to EDII through the Tufts Application Management System, there appears to be a glitch. It does not register my request, and even worse, the Tufts admissions office is closed this whole week for the holidays. I sent them an e mail already, but is there any way I will be able to get this done before the 1/1 deadline?</p>

<p>ps- im incredibly nervous because of all this, i'd be crushed if this technological breakdown caused my application to be invalid.</p>

<p>I would expect them to consider the date of your email request. It would be a good idea to call them/email them for confirmation once the office is open again.</p>

<p>any idea when the office opens again, because when I called, the recording left it a bit ambiguous ("holiday break")?</p>

<p>Okay, in relation to this problem, on the commonapp, there was no place for me to check that I was applying EDII. Did this happen to everyone else? I presume I can just let them know in the supplement...</p>

<p>That was my problem too. I asked commonapp about it and they said just checking the box on the supplement would be enough. :)</p>

<p>hmm,the thing is, in my case, i checked RD on the supplement, but just now have a change of heart. i guess all i can do is hope to get in touch with a representative before 1/1...</p>

<p>We've got all your materials (it sounds like from your post), so switching you will be easy. Even if you can't get confirmation until a couple days past the New Year, we'll be able to move you.</p>

<p>yep, the office opened today and i spoke with a rep. all is well and i'm switched to EDII. crisis averted.</p>
