My school has this thing where you turn in a form two weeks before a college's deadline, and they mail out a packet with everything you need like transcripts and recs.... so anways i turned in that form on time for Northeastern and BC, but both schools say they dont have my transcripts or recs. I dont know if my guidance department made a mistake or what, and im going to clear it all up and get in the stuff within a week, but does this mean my application won't be considered for Early Action?

No, the Common App only indicates they have been submitted if they were done so electronically.

um im not quite sure what you mean by that

If they've postmarked it by the deadline, it's OK, which is probably what happened.

Also, like amciw said, if you gave them literal sheets of paper to fill out and envelopes, it will never show up on the common app site.

Tromboneplayer- it often takes the colleges many weeks, or a month to enter in the computer all the forms from you they have received. (I'm assuming you are checking the online status of yolur application at the colleges website.)

If they are truly missing somthing when they are ready to start reading the applications, they will contact you for the missing papers.
