So it's my last real week of school as next week is finals. I have a bunch of big projects and assignments due this week as well as several tests. The problem I'm facing with this is that I've been terribly sick since last Saturday and haven't attended school the past 3 days. This is probably the sickest I've ever been in my life. So sick, in fact, that I can hardly get out of bed even with the help of tylenol and advil. So even if I were to get the makeup work from school, I wouldn't be able to do it because my fever runs up to 103~104 and I have moments where I shake violently and can't even talk properly. I went to the emergency room yesterday because of this but I was told that it's nothing too serious but I think they only told me that because I took some tylenol right before I left to go.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has had or heard of a similar experience? This is particularly stressful because the last week of school is next week so I don't know how I'd be able to make up the work and possibly study for finals if I'm even healthy again by the weekend which I'm not even sure of as I heard this type of sickness can last upwards of 10 days. Do you think they'd possibly give me the grade I have now and over the summer let me make up my work and turn it in next fall?

Oh, and I'll be a senior next fall.
