HUGE scare

<p>i came home from the grocery store this evening to find my parents very quiet. when i asked what was going on my dad replied </p>

<p>"please dont get mad at me. i got the mail before you got home. i didn't think it would have already come, but you got a small envelope from notre dame's office of admissions"</p>

<p>he held up what i would consider to be a medium-size envelope</p>

<p>you have no idea how many thoughts ran through my head while i opened up that "small" envelope. i wondered why i had gotten a response so early and figured i had been either deferred or rejected. </p>

<p>i felt a little better when i found my returned CD art portfolio submission inside the envelope.</p>

<p>just curious … when was it postmarked/when did you actually get it in the mail - just trying to figure out how long mail is taking to get outta south bend (oh and where are you from?)</p>

<p>cincinnati. it was postmarked on the 7th. so if the letters are mailed out on friday, i should get mine on monday then right?</p>
