Hum 1AES/BES/CS series or Writing 45/60?

Hi,

Incoming freshman here, I didn’t satisfy the ELWR (had no scores to report) and got an email about collaborative placement. They’re giving me these options to start from:

  • HUM 1AES
  • HUM 1AS
  • WR 40
  • WR 40a
  • WR 45
  • WR 50

I read that WR 45 and HUM 1AES do satisfy the ELWR while simultaneously counting toward the lower division writing req. Which one should I take, though? I’d appreciate insights from people who took either of the above options to fulfill the ELWR, but thanks for any advice!
