Here is my profile.
I'm worried about my SAT scores..
I want to know if i could make it to Wash U

SAT I : 2090 - Reading 630, Math 760, Writing 700
SAT II : Biology M - 700
Math Level 2 - 750
U.S. History - 700
AP : American History - 5
GPA : Fresh - N/A ( from other country )
Sopho - 4.00
Junior - 4.00

Your SAT is a bit low but your GPA is excellent. Your SAT is probably OK as it is but I would try to raise that CR score 50 points or so. Also, detail your extracurriculars a bit.

Number-wise, you’re not sitting badly or anything. If you can bring the SAT up some it’d help, of course, but it’s not gonna kill you. Strong ECs and showing a bit of interest will give you as much of a shot as anyone can have at top schools. Best of luck! :)

Your stats are good enough to make the application fee a sound speculation. Work on the SAT.

Get some good matches and safties. All the “elite” schools are crapshoots for people with less than stellar stats. You are very good but fall short of stellar.

Does your out of country freshman year constitute a valid “hook”? Do not fail to claim every possible but ethical characteristic that might catch an adcoms attenton.

you definitely have a shot. my SAT scores were a bit higher than yours. just show a lot of interest and passion through EC’s and essay.
good luck! :D

icic! thanks alot! i know i am going to apply to WashU early… but does anyone know if there is a regional advantage eventhough i’m an international student? i attend a boarding school in Omaha…so its pretty close to St. Louis…

Not easy to determine with the very limited info available in your post. But it seems that you are an average applicant with a decent shot. A lot will depend on your ECs, essays and recommendations. Going ED will give you a bit of a boost. Absolutely use any hook that you might have.
