Human Ecology College, not a HATE thread, but a LOVE thread!

I'm applying to Humec for the spring semester as a transfer from a community college.

I have a few questions if anyone has any insight.
First of all, the Humec college is a blessing to me. I always wants to go into medicine but didn't want the super sciencey majors but still wanted at least some kind of foundation in biology.
My first question is, are there any other universities that even offer majors such as "biology and society," and "Human Biology Heath and Society?"
Secondly, I can't decided between these three majors, Bio and society, human biology health and society, and just human development. Can anyone give me some kind of idea as to what the differences are between these majors? From the website, they all kind of seem more or less the same. Is one more impacted than the other?
Thanks for reading.

I didn’t look into bio and society, or maybe i did but i forgot. HBHS and HD can be very similar. HD is just mostly human development courses (obviously), For HBHS, you can structure it to be very similar to HD by taking HD classes to fulfill your requirement. You can also structure it to be like a nutrition major by taking Nutritional science classes. You can also take both HD and NS classes but most of the time people dont do a big mix, they mostly take a lot more of 1 than the other.

if you want to go into medicine, you’ll face those super sciency classes sooner or later

Thanks for the info, that’s kind of what I assumed.

Anyone else?

bumpelstilskins

Well I know that Georgetowen has Bio of Global Health. The college for which you would be applying has a transfer rate of about 8%.

8%? great.

hey! It’s possible - I did it! Juist try your best, you never know!
