what sort of activities does human ecology (esp, human development) look for in applicants?

anyone know?

HD is concerned with how people mature (cognitively, socially, etc.). In a broad sense, anything that studies how people think or behave or mature qualifies. If you want something easy, volunteer at an elementary school or tutor a middle school student, work with autistic kids, work with at-risk teens, etc. You will notice that a lot of the activities I’ve suggested involve kids. A large focus of HD is on children with the assumption that most of our development takes place before we reach adulthood.

I didn’t wanna make a long laundry list so I just put the 5 main ones which included hospital volunteering, religious community service, neurological research, National Honor Society and Track.
I also mentioned the 4 different jobs I have been doing in the past 4 years.
Do u guys think its too low for HD?
I just freak out when I see people with 15 ECs…
