Human Geo Curve?

Was it huge? How did ya'll do so far on the test those who called in to get their grades???

I got a 4. Took an “online” class. Basically didn’t learn anything from the class. Did not study. I am happy.

Wow
OK, that makes me feel better-ish.
I would be glad with a 4
Anyone else?

I’m waiting to get the mail, not paying 8 bucks and took it freshman year and was first AP. I hope I get a 3 at least.

I got a 5. HG is pretty easy, in my opinion. I took the class at school. I never read the text book, but I aced basically every test, and often had the highest grade in the class. Most people I know basically expect 5’s on HG. It’s the AP that everyone takes.

I’ve heard it’s harder
I took a bunch of practice exams and I didn’t do so hot- but apparently the curve is quite big, so IDK.

I didn’t do so hot either. I got a 3 on the first one and a very very bad score (most the class did better) and prob. got a 2 on the 2nd one and was like 15 points behind. I got a 90 and 92 (with the 10 points) in the class. I don’t know how I did, I think maybe a 3?

early_college: what was the curve for the test? thanks

I’m sorry I have no idea about the AP Human Geo Test and a possible curve. I don’t even know what I got yet and if I get a 4 or 5 I know there was a curve!

Well, thanks for all the feedback anyways! I checked the FRQ answers with my friends, and I only missed 1 on the religion one! And I think I got the others right, but not so sure!

Me too! I put Hutterites instead of Lutheran, my teacher said it wasn’t completely wrong though. I actually put Lutheran first and then changed it to Hutterites. I rem reading it in our book, so I changed it. I know friends who did the same thing and some put Catholic, we never talked about Lutheran at all and talked about Baptist in the South and Catholic up in New England. I had some friends put Catholic for the Lutheran one too and new only one who actually got it right and she had a 99 (without the 10 points) in the class. I knew Mormon because it was common sense and I knew that since I was young. I live in the South, so Baptist was the easiest and I wrote about it. I thought I did good on the other two, I was worried because I crossed a lot out and didn’t know if they could read it. I drew a picture for the 2nd FRQ and thought I did good on the other two. I thought the MC was easier, but who knows! I’ll find out soon enough.

Haha, me too!
I didn’t get the Lutheran one, or I missed that, I got Baptist, lol, cause I love in the South. I don’t really want to discuss the MC (don’t want to defy College Board rules.)
Anyone else got a passing score? (Or even bad scores. We’ll comfort you :D)

I wasn’t talking about the MC choice at all and I wouldn’t. I don’t even rem. the questions and I just said I thought it was easier then the FRQ. I still don’t know what I got.

Oh, sorry. I thought they were equally OK.
Although the first FRQ scared the heck out of me… I had no idea remembering anything about religions in the United States!!! Eeekk.

What book did you guys use to study for Human Geo?

I thought Mormons and Baptists were common sense, lol. I used this book: [Amazon.com: Human Geography: People, Place, and Culture: Harm J. de Blij, Alexander B. Murphy, Erin Fouberg: Books](http://www.amazon.com/Human-Geography-People-Place-Culture/dp/0471679518/ref=pd_sim_b_24)

We had Rubenstein, although I preferred deBlijj

We read Rubenstein like once or twice, but we saw him on some video’s though.

i got a 5! must’ve been a pretty generous curve
i had rubenstein, read one chapter then swapped to my barron’s. didn’t even finish skimming until the ride to the testing center :)

Congrats! I wish I would have got a 5, I still don’t know though.
