Hello,

I have recently graduated with a Associates degree in Science. The field of study was Human Services/ Pre-Social work. I was planning on continuing on towards a bachelors in this field, but I realized its not something that I really want to do. I am not looking into Occupational Therapy. I have been looking into a COTA program that is offered at a local school, which is another associates degree. I figured I would do that, and get a job and then continue on to become an OT. A friend of mine mentioned to me that the credits from an OTA program may not transfer and to continue on, I may have to start completely over (4 years for a bachelors rather than 2.) I was wondering if anyone has any insight on if that is true or not? Or will I be better off transferring and getting a bachelors in a health science field rather than going for the COTA program?
