Humanities at Rice??

<p>I'm a rising senior, 85% sure I'm gonna do the pre-med track in undergrad, and am considering applying to Rice. </p>

<p>I know the sciences are strong, but how are the humanities courses/departments there?</p>

<p>Though I'm probably gonna be pre-med I don't want to sacrifice a really good, academically challenging/stimulating humanities education for it. I'm most likely going to major in English or a social science. My favorite subject is English/Lit as of now in high school.</p>

<p>So, how are humanities are Rice??</p>

<p>If you do a search o this thread you’ll find a lot. One of the main reasons my son is at Rice now is because of some of those threads. Look for my posts around last spring. Also search “writing”</p>
