Hello,

I have some questions about submitting a resume for graduate school admissions. A bit of background-- I'm applying this year to competitive PhD programs in a humanities field. Several programs to which I'm applying ask for a resume. I'm a bit unclear about what they're looking for- does anyone have any guidance? (I've been bugging my professors and advisor so much throughout this admissions process, so I'm hoping to do this part without having to bother them..)

Are these resumes meant to be academic CVs? Or more like standard resumes? Do I need to keep it to one page?

I received an undergrad degree in 2000 in one field, worked in that field for seven years, and returned to school in 2007 to complete prerequisites for the graduate programs to which I'm now applying. So, I have a combination of work experience (which is tangentially related to my intended field of study), and academic preparation/ travel related to my field/ language study and so forth.

Is this all the type of information that is appropriate for this sort of resume?
