Any suggestions for courses that are not writing intensive?

Intro to Asian Art - HAA0020

easy as hell, but is actually interesting.

takes care of 3 requirements.

Pitt requires I believe four writing courses.

Courses listings with "W" by it are writing intensive courses. Foreign language courses have papers. Philosophy Ethics had several papers. Public speaking was very easy, but had one paper also. It's too bad you can't see a syllabus of the courses before you register.

Does getting a 4 in AP English Lit satisfy any engineering gen ed requirements? The AP Credit sheet says you get credit for ENGLIT 0000 which isn't on the school of engineering electives list.

The engineering school gives credit for couses not listed on their "approved" list. I think you may have to fill out a form for those, but my son got credit for some that were not listed.

Intro to Sociology is fun and interesting, i loved it!
Pitt requires only two writing intensive courses: one in a field of your choice and another within your major.
Also, if you don't get a 5 on the AP English exam you must take Seminar in Composition. I've heard really good things about the service-learning focused one, and the one I took with prof. jen lee was amazing. I would recommend getting that out of the way in the fall if you have to take it.

Classics 0020 is an awesome course, the prof is Andrew Korzeniewski. I also liked RELGST 0090. HIST 0125 is good. CLASS 0010, and 0030 are good too.
