<p>I'm the mom of incoming freshman to Hume Hall. Can anyone tell me what they really need to bring? Kitchen stuff? Do they leave their soap, etc in the bathroom? Should they arrange to rent a fridge in advance? I know nothing. Thanks.</p>

<p>i live in Hume for the summer and i bought a 7-piece pot set from walmart($20) we cooked once but my friend has a microwave so we eat food we can heat up or stuff u can eat right out the fridge. Its best to have some bowls/plates, utensils etc for obvious reasons.
In my suite no1 leaves there stuff in the bathroom except their towels (one person has the suction cup shower caddy) but my friends suite they leave their stuff in the bathroom.
Cowpernia: ask your D/S if their roommate is bringing a fridge so maybe they can share, to save some money from renting one. Oh and each floor has a stove and microwave.</p>
