Humor Supplementary Essay

So I've been wracking my head for a few days on what to write for this essay. All my other essays are done save this one.

I have a few ideas on what to write about but they seem either too bland or too extreme, let me know what you guys think.

First I was gonna write about Frolfing and a Frolfing club in town (frisbee disc golfing, seems kinda bland)

Then I thought of a time at Boy Scout camp when I electrolyzed Hydrogen out of water and put it in a balloon and made a mini"bomb" of sorts and hid it underneath this very arrogant counselor's bed and attached some electrodes and detonated it remotely while he was sleeping (seems extreme)

Or of another time when I launched pudding out of a potato gun at this really mean teachers car at night from 75 yards are so (I even went through and calculated the angle and amount of hairspray needed, was pretty proud of myself) again this one seems kind of extreme.

Let me know what you guys think!

I probably wouldn't write stories about you harassing teachers. Maybe that's just me though.

Any comments on the other topics mentioned. Both of the more extreme incidents were completely harmless but still, bleh.

Nothing you mentioned seems particularly funny or demonstrative of a sense of humor to me, but I'm only one person. Also, I don't know what the prompt is. Why not just tell a funny story?

Sorry I should have known to post it, here it is.

Caltech students have long been known for their quirky sense of humor and creative pranks and for finding unusual ways to have fun. What is something that you find fun or humorous?

I was banking on the prank side of the question and the pranking nature of Caltech.

Yeah but I think Caltech's pranks are meant to be funny and harmless. Not ...like that.

I agree with Tiffany.

I think you should write about what you think is funny, and not what you think Caltech wants you to think is funny. If you think the pranks you mentioned are funny, then go for it.

Oh I think they were both hilarious, I decided to go with the potato gun incident but I am making sure to do it in a way were I don't sound like a malicious little creep

I wrote about four of us geography students making big structures out of chairs and tables while we were bored waiting in a room for our exam. I included one pendulum like structure where I measured its oscillation, length etc. and did calculations to verify that it followed simple harmonic motion. Good ol' days lol..
Any thoughts?

For the humor essay? It sounds rly cool but not exactly funny.

I am writing about pranks that my FRIENDS and I do, but the prompt asks for things that just ME as an INDIVIDUAL does to have fun. Is it still acceptable, then, to write about activities that you and your friends do together?

I wrote about how I prepped batch files to mess with my classmates during last day of submission of systems and programs for our Computer Programming class but that’s just me…

C’mon guys! Two latest themes are ok.It’s nerd humour, exactly what caltech students do.
