I wanted to get everybody’s opinion on both the pros and cons of attending Hunter College CUNY or City College CUNY. I am moving out to NY in a few months and I plan on attending either of these schools for my MA in Mathematics. I wanted to know from current and former students of both which school would be better to attend (factors I want is post graduate life, starting salary, etc.) if you guys could.

Wanted to hear feedback … a way to “tag” the thread
I am in my junior year of Hunter College, I have heard from others at the school that their MA programs give more work than necessary, but overall, it is a top school. City College I heard is a great school as well. Whichever CUNY Masters Program you graduate from, getting a job after depends on who you network with and if the school has connections to jobs after graduating. For example, I am currently in the Early Childhood Education BA Program at Hunter College, and my class has visited a few places such as schools and organizations that hold Hunter students with high esteem and they say that they will always consider Hunter students. The reputation and connections is what gets you the job.
