Hunter Honors Program vs. Stony Brook

Hi guys I really need help in choosing between two colleges. I have been accepted into the Sage Honors program at Hunter and Stony Brook University. My intention is pre-med and I am undeclared in my major. Both schools have given me great offers.

Hunter’s Sage Honors program offers:
-A scholarship of $4,000 per academic year, renewable for four years.
-A dedicated academic advisor to help you create academic plans and prepare you for internships, study abroad, and honors opportunities.
-Priority access to a room in one of our residence halls for your freshman year.
-Special programs, like first-year seminar, summer common reading, and co-curricular activities to foster intellectual curiosity and connections with other students, faculty, and advisors.
-Priority registration; early access to register for classes each semester.
-Hunter’s full and extensive range of majors, minors, and undergraduate certificate programs.
-The fact that Hunter is in NYC is also a plus

Stony Brook is very well known as a great pre-med school. I also received a presidential scholarship from Stony of $3000 per academic year. Although its not located in the city, there are tons of internships that are offered and it is a great school when it comes to academics and preparation for the MCAT. Stony has more of a campus feeling.

Just some thoughts when comparing the two schools:
I have heard of Stony Brook students getting into more prestigious medical schools when compared to Hunter. However, I have been offered a lot of things through this Honors Program at Hunter. I am not sure about the dorming situation at Hunter. Stony is also higher in ranks when compared to Hunter. I would ultimately have to pay less if I attend Hunter. Also, Stony’s pre-med program is VERY competitive, but again, many of those students get into amazing medical schools. Can anyone help me out in choosing between these two schools, or rather share some advice?
