Does anyone know of anyone who has been accepted? Stats, ECs, Passions? What do they really want in a Huntsman student?

I know several students who have gone through the Huntsman program. Besides having very high stats, I found that nearly all of them are fluent in a second language. Most of them speak a second language at home or they have lived overseas for a period of time.

This was one of the two programs son was considering applying to last fall. He was torn between the Huntsman program and the Jerome Fisher Management and Technology (M & T) program. After some research he went with the M & T. They are both similar in the BS in econ through Wharton and the difference in a degree from the School of Engineering vs. the college.

He was accepted to the M & T and he did visit during accepted student days and was very impressed. Very. He had a very difficult time with his ultimate decision. There were students for the Huntsman program up there the same time as he, they did the Wharton tour and visit at the same time. Again he was very impressed and the program was a great fit.

I can't say what they are looking for, but the student's applying must have a pretty good idea of what will be expected of them if they are to obtain two degrees in 4 years. The scheduling is tight and the workload would be interesting to say the least.

Hope this helps somewhat.
