Huntsman: how many were accepted from ed?

i know the numbers went up by 5, but how many has already been accepted?
i know they dont take more than 45, so i was just wondering.

they accept like 40-45 or something out of 700

this year i think it was 50 they accepted

wait....so that means that there are NO chances for regular applicants??

well I know 2 people off hte top of my heda

no, there are chances for regular acceptances

they accept like 40-45 or something out of 700 (not only ED)
oh nvm haha, didnt read ur entire post

i dont know about ED rates of huntsman

Generally, they admit about 20-25 during ED, this year, they admitted 5 more, so it would make it around 30 kids already accepted. Last year, they over admitted during the RD rounds, so it screwed up the selectivity/yield rates, and they got stuck with a class of around 50 kids (which, they didn't expect). They ALWAYS try to aim for the 40-45 kids mark. The 50 kids are the exception-year. So, I estimate they will accept about 20 more kids during the RD round, to yield a class of about 40-45.

hhe thanks =)

how about jerome fisher? is it around the same numbers?

Does anyone know if you have to take a language proficieny test before Huntsmen will accept you?

yes .

chanman, in regards to your first post. they accept 40-45 altogether as in both ED and RD. they usually accept half of those during RD but yea, apparently numbers are up in ED this year.

Do any of you know when they start sending out the tape-mediated proficiency tests for Huntsman?

Hmmm...for the ED round, they were sent two weeks before the decisions were released. You get one week to get it back to them. And then, they have committees. Take that into account, they should be hitting you around the middle of march? (not sure though...you might want to check the old forums to see if they have any of the old Huntsman RD threads to makes sure).
