Huntsman Program Testing Deadlines

I just have two question before I set my sight on applying to Huntsman. I am currently thinking of studying Chinese as my target language, but I have yet to take the Chinese SAT II. Will it be acceptable if I take the SAT II on November 1 and then rushing the scores after I receive them? I don't know how quickly Huntsman applications are viewed.

Another question, if I were rejected from Huntsman, will my application be pushed to the Early Decision pool for my secondary single-degree school or will it be pushed to the Regular Decision pool? Will the fact that I applied for Huntsman have a negative or positive impact on my chances at the secondary school (Wharton)?

1) You don't need to rush the scores if you take the November 1. If they need them rushed, they'll contact you.
2) Yes, if your rejected, they'll consider you for the single degree school.
It won't have any impact, except that it could show passion that you're interested in the schools' programs.

Thanks so much. Will I be considered for the single-degree school Early Decision or Regular Decision?

Early Decision.
If you're deferred from Early, then you'll be considered for Huntsman and Wharton again in Regular.

So they look at your application 4 times...?
Something doesn't sound right.

They do because they compare you to every pool of applicants.
Maybe they think you suck, but realize in RD everyone is worse than you, so they should admit you, get it?
Plus, you'd most likely have new things to add to your resume by RD, so it'd be tweaked, and you should re-write your essay anyway.

Penn requires November SAT scores to be rushed for Early Decision applicants

^
Ask your regional director.
At a Penn session in my city, he told us don't Rush, save the money. If they need it ASAP, they'll ask for it.
Plus, Rush, on average, comes at the same time as non-rushed (1-2 weeks).

Oh cool, I'll check with my regional director.

Thx for the tip
